- 1990 - 1994 - Director of the Information Technology Center of Romanian Railways
- 1994 – 1998 - Vice-president of the Romanian Railways (SNCFR)
- 1988 – 1999 - Director of Technical Department of Romanian National Railways Company (CFR)
- 1999 – 2000 – General Director of Management Unit of Romanian Government for International Financed Projects
INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS EXPERIENCE:
- 1994 - 1998 - Coordination of Romanian Railways teams for the negotiation and implementation of large projects financed by IBRD, EBRD, EIB and EU (PHARE) for the projects of modernization of the Romanian Railways, with a total value of more than 600 million US$.
- 1999 – 2000 – Coordination of the Private Sector Adjustment Project, the largest restructuring program developed by the Romanian Government and financed by the IBRD.
INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES:
- 1992 - 1998 - Member of the Steering Group of the Information Technology Committee of International Union of Railways (UIC)
- 1995 – 1998 - Member of the Steering Committee of the Infrastructure Commission of International Union of Railways (UIC)
- From 1998 - President of the Information Technology Committee of International Union of Railways (UIC)
- 1998 - 2000 - Co-Chairman of Transportation Working Group created in the frame of US-Romania Action Group, for the identification of common interest projects between American and Romanian companies in the transportation sector.
