Sea Point Africa Container Facility: Ecomarine International, a private marine operator in Togo, received a grant from USTDA for a feasibility study on a proposed off-shore container facility terminal. Sea Point LLC, a U.S. firm, founded the design of the proposed facility. The facility would accommodate larger vessels, remove their container cargo, and transfer the containers to smaller vessels for delivery in the sub-region. The feasibility study has been completed and the project developers are approaching private financial institutions that may be involved with implementation of the project.
