U.S. – Morocco International Transshipment Conference

The Office of Export Control Cooperation, Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation, U.S. Department of State (ISN/ECC) oversees the U.S. Government’s Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) Program. EXBS is designed to stem proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, their delivery systems, and conventional weapons by assisting countries around the world with establishing effective export and border control systems meeting international standards. 

To further EXBS’ global mission, ISN/ECC hosted a Global Trade and Security Conference in Tangier, Morocco. Approximately one hundred delegates from numerous countries will attend. Conference proceedings will focus on how the U.S. Government, EXBS partner nations, and private industry can improve global trade security via export control and counter proliferation policies and cooperation.
