The briefing is part of an orientation visit organized by USTDA in conjunction with a $10 million Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) grant program to “help enhance civil aviation policies and regulatory framework, improve administrative services, and train personnel in charge of surveillance and enforcement of new regulations.”
The fee for the business briefing is $35 which includes a briefing book, reception and optional one-on-one meetings with delegates (the schedule may not allow for one-on-one meetings with all delegates).
The orientation visit (or trade mission) will include sessions in Washington, DC with regulatory and policy agencies (FAA and TSA) and with financial institutions (IADB, Export-Import Bank of the United States).
Trips to Baltimore-Washington International Airport and FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ, will also be included..
