Port of Tema: USTDA has not committed funding support to date for port development activities at the Port of Tema in Ghana. However, the port is regarded as one of the most important ports in the sub-region. The port has witnessed a drastic increase in traffic since troubles in neighboring Cote d’Ivoire began, greatly hindering operations at the Port of Abidjan. Various expansion projects are currently planned or being implemented at the Port of Tema.
The Port Authority of Tema is responsible for management of the Port of Tema.
