Tuesday, October 29th
12:30PM - 5:00 PM
US Trade and Development Agency Business Center
1621 North Kent Street. Suite 200

With simultaneous growth and an eroding infrastructure, Sub-Saharan Africa is in urgent need of new construction for commercial, institutional, and residential applications. The United States is ideally placed to assist with these challenges.  The U.S. is a leader in manufactured housing, panelized construction, truss frame systems, and other technologies pertaining to pre-fabricated housing.

The briefing is part of an orientation visit organized by USTDA to expose 13 ministerial-rank delegates from Benin, Nigeria, Namibia, and Botswana to a range of manufacturing technology and equipment in the U.S. pre-fabricated housing sector.

The orientation visit (or trade mission) included visits in New England, New Jersey, Florida and the Washington, DC area.
